On Monday, June 22, 2026, Staatsbosbeheer and the Netherlands Cultural Heritage Agency are organizing the symposium Landscape Connects: the landscape ecological system analysis (LESA) and landscape biography in practice. The meeting will focus on the practical application of LESA and landscape biography in area development, nature management, and spatial design. The landscape analysis within the national parks will also receive attention.
Professionals from nature management, heritage, policy, and land management share practical experiences and engage in discussions about the opportunities and use of these tools. Topics include collaboration, spatial quality, and sustainable area development.
Practical Information
The symposium takes place from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM at the RCE and Staatsbosbeheer at Smallepad 5 in Amersfoort. Participation is free, but registration is required. The event can only be attended live and will not be recorded or streamed.
